PostgreSQL 12, due out early Fall 2019, is the results of tens of thousands of hours of work by hundreds of people, and it brings important improvements in a wide variety of areas. This talk will cover some of the most important changes and improvements, including improvements to partitioning, indexing, and the query planner; changes to recovery and replication, the exciting new table access method interface, and other forthcoming improvements.
