Should we increase the memory or add more CPU cores? Would faster storage help? How can we scale a PostgreSQL server so that it can do the best forever with increasing data volume and transactions over a period of time ? In this presentation, we shall discuss how a connection pooler, load balancer, partitioning, tablespaces and a few extensions can help us scale a PostgreSQL server.
