Oscar Herrera is EDB’s Senior Vice President, Services. He is responsible for EDB’s global consulting and training organizations and serves as a Field CTO by providing leadership to the teams inside large enterprise customers that are adopting EDB Postgres or expanding deployments. Prior to joining EDB, Oscar operated KnowledgeSource Solutions, Inc. as Founding Principal and designed and developed technology strategy, architecture, integration and analytics for enterprise clients. Prior to forming KnowledgeSource, Oscar was a co-founder of Type T, LLC, an e-business consulting firm that serviced major enterprise organizations. Before starting Type T, Oscar led Deloitte Consulting/DRT Systems' Center of Excellence for eBusiness Infrastructure and Architecture. Oscar holds a degree in aerospace engineering from Boston University.
